We have been offering our services for more than 50 years to the construction business in the Dominican Republic as well as abroad.  Our company was found by Ing. Mario Penzo Foundeur graduated as civil engineer at the Univercity of Dresden, Germany and recognized as the Civil Engineer of the Century as well as The Father of The Modern Dominican Civil Engineering.

The Colegio Dominicano de Ingenieros Arquitectos y Agrimensores ( CODIA ) choosed Engineer Mario Penzo Fondeur The Civil Engineer of The Century.  This recognition was well recived in the dominican society, because of his dedication as a professor, as a contractor and as citizen.  He was born the 26 of September 1910 in Santiago de Los Caballeros, son of Leticia Fondeur and Augusto Penzo, and married Lea Pichardo Vicioso with whom he procreated nine sons, four of them are civil engineers, two architecs, one is Lic. In Chemestry and other one Lic. In International services.  He finished the High School in 1928 in his hometown and became a civil engineer in may 1934 in Dresden, Germany. in 1973 he designed, calculated and constructed the first concrete bridge, built by a dominican engineer, which is located in Los Melones, Bani.  From 1937 until 1946 he served in La Direccion General de Obras Publicas, Building several bridges nationwide and finally seved as subdirector of the inistitution.  In 1938 he became professor of  La Universidad Central de Santo Domingo ( today's Universidad Autonoma de Sto.Dgo., UASD ), holding lectures of Technical Mechanics and Statics of the Constructions and Metalic Structures until 1965.  The contribution he made to the Faculty of Civil Engineering, during this period, is well represented by  the young professors formed like Ing.Leonte Bernard Vasquez in Technical Mechanics, Ing.Fernado Santana in Metallic Structures and Ing.Samuel Conde in Foundations and Ing.Antonio Thomen in Reinforced Concrete.

Other professors formed were Ing.Oscar Cucurulo, Ings.Petrus y Alfredo Manzano, as Well as Ing.Jesus Campos, who collaborated with the text of The Statics of The Constructions by Ing. Mario Penzo Foundeur.
